Grouse Hunting in Minnesota at Eagle Nest Lodge
Minnesota has an abundant ruffed grouse population that attracts avid grouse hunters year after year. With thousands of acres of national, state and local forest woodlands and hundreds of miles of logging roads, the sheer number of grouse will make your hunt successful and enjoyable. Our great location, just north of Grand Rapids, MN, means your hunting party can look forward to a great ruffed grouse hunt year after year. The terrain here is that of rolling hardwood hills, lakes, rivers, streams and low lying wetlands. Commercial timber harvesting has made the age structure and composition of the forest very dynamic which creates a consistent grouse population. Minnesota has a liberal bag limit of 5 grouse per day, so bring an extra box of shells – you may use them all. Whether you have your own dogs or hunt without dogs you can flush a high volume of birds here.
After a long day of hunting, relax in our fully-equipped cabins that sleep from 2 to 14 guests and include full kitchens and bathrooms, and free wi-fi internet. Click here to view our cabins or click here to check availability.
